We’ve cut the cost of our Christmas dinner basket!

In Good Housekeeping’s seventh annual Christmas Dinner Basket League, we not only triumphed over Asda, Aldi and Sainsbury’s on the cost of our basket – but we’re proud to announce that we’ve also sliced the price of Christmas at the Co-op. This year’s festive feast comes in at an affordable £30.45 – that’s £10 less than last year!

The results are based on a basket of festive food to feed a family of eight, including these 11 Christmas essentials – turkey, potatoes, sage & onion stuffing, sprouts, carrots, parsnips, cranberry sauce, Christmas pudding, brandy butter, mince pies and Christmas cake.

That’s not all! Out of the 10 leading supermarkets surveyed, we also topped the table as the cheapest retailer for parsnips and sprouts – which is great news for the lovers of these seasonal vegetables! We think this year’s results are something to shout about. They really celebrate our commitment to bringing our customers high quality, fresh produce, at low prices every day – and Christmas time is no exception!
