Queen's beerWe’re celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday with a special edition British ale. Introducing Ma’am, a glorious light golden ale (4.3% ABV) specially produced to commemorate the occasion.

Brewed using Goldings hops, it has a citrus and malty aroma coupled with a sweet and soft taste. The bottle itself is adorned with the Union Jack and a silhouette of our longest-serving monarch, all topped off with a golden crown.

Named supermarket of the year* for our British ale range, Ma’am is exclusive to the Co-op and available for a limited time only to mark the Queen’s birthday celebrations in May and June.

Richard Dennett, Senior Category Manager for Beers and Spirits at the Co-op, said:

“There is a long history of ales playing a central role in commemorating the royal occasions and we think this regal brew is fit for a queen (or king)!”

Brewed by Charles Wells Brewery, a family brewer since 1876 – this light, refreshing beer is available in selected store nationwide from 27th April. Simply check the Ma’am store list to locate your nearest stockist.
