Customers bought 425,000 bottles of Prosecco this Christmas!

This year, Christmas brought us sales success. Convenience proved increasingly popular with many shoppers popping in to pick up last-minute essentials.

Over the festive period, our busiest day was Christmas Eve. We completed over 3.5 million transactions as customers stocked up on festive fare for the big day.

As waistlines grew, so did our sales! Our three top selling products were carrots, Prosecco and sprouts.

Our Christmas Fresh Three was a resounding success. We sold over 1 million packs of carrots, sprouts and parsnips. Our award-winning Prosecco seemed to be the tipple of choice, as we sold a whopping 425,000 bottles over the festive period.

Customers also bought 37% more mince pies than last year, whilst speciality cheeses also continued to be ever-popular. We sold 48% more Wensleydale & Cranberry wedges, and 50% more Garlic Roules compared to last year!

Which of our delicious products did you pop in for this Christmas?
